Projectors
High powered - Room lighting should be reduced somewhat for best screen viewing, but a totally dark or dimly lit room is usually not necessary.
HDTV Capable - Most people do not realize that many videogames are actually designed for HDTV, and not only is the quality difference substantial, but gameplay is often enhanced in a widescreen aspect ratio.
Component Video Input - The highest quality video input source.
Short Throw - There need only be a distance of 6 feet between the projector and screen to obtain an 80in diagonal image.

Projection Screens
Our screens are the size equivalent of an 80-in diagonal television and are specifically chosen so that they evenly distribute light over the widest possible viewing angle while also ensuring that colors remain bright and lifelike, with no shifts in hue.

Sound
GameJockeys uses top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art 150 watt systems with each unit. The system was purposefully selected to provide the largest "sweet spot" for stereo sound. This is critical for both the immersive effect and so that gamers know which direction they're being fired at from. No matter the setup, gamers will get excellent sound quality.
Game Controllers
GameJockeys uses first party game controllers exclusively, when available.
